Design and engineering are at the heart of what I do and where every successful product begins. With experience spanning flight-critical aerospace components, precision manufacturing fixtures, medical devices, and high-end consumer products, I understand how to take ideas from early concept through to reliable, production-ready design.
Every project is approached with the same mindset: balance creativity with practicality, and design with both the user and manufacturer in mind. Whether you need help refining an existing concept or developing a completely new product, I bring hands-on experience across industrial and mechanical design, prototyping, and have a trusted network of suppliers and manufacturers to get it built right.
If you’re looking for a partner who can combine technical expertise with thoughtful design - and guide your idea smoothly from concept to production - I’d love to help bring it to life.
The steps below are a simplified summary of what you may expect when designing your product.
Using SolidWorks and advanced 3D CAD tools, I develop detailed 3D models; balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
Step One:
Mechanical Design and CAD Modeling
Each part and assembly is reviewed for material selection, tolerances, and production method compatibility, whether for injection molding, machining, or 3D printing.
Step Two:
Design For Manufacturing (DFM)
Functional prototypes are built and tested using FDM, SLA, or SLS printing, as well as machined or molded parts, to validate design and performance.
Step Three:
Prototyping and Testing
Iterative updates based on testing, feedback, and user experience ensure the final design is optimized for real-world use.
Step Four:
Design Refinement
Final deliverables include full CAD assemblies, STEP files, 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs; everything needed for seamless handoff to production
